Eating after surfing

Postby Black » Sat Sep 24, 2016 3:04 pm

I've noticed if I surf around lunchtime I tend not to be very hungry when I get out and often miss lunch out altogether. I do have my obligatory handful of peanuts before and after usually but its nothing like a meal replacement. I get hungry again later in the afternoon though.
It seems counter intuitive to me that after all that exercise I'm not ravenous when I get out?
Anyone else find this or have any scientific reason it may be so?

So many variants to this. Depends on what you've eaten, when, your metabolic rate etc. I used to play football quite a bit, and would always feel sick for a couple of hours afterwards, so would never eat. After a surf though, I'm normally starving!

Yes there are a lot of variants involved but this is a general thing I've noticed over the years.
