Nottingham to the Sea...

Looking for a lift to the beach? Got a car and fancy a help with petrol costs? Just want to bump into a few folk heading in the same direction?

Yo,

Just been let down on a long weekend away. Anyone fancy a surf, looking to go wherever the waves are, south to mid Wales looks decent. Scarborough looks shit but still thinking of going. B&B about £20, got a car and ready to go!

Dan.

Hi Everyone

I set up this fb community called 'Landlocked Surfers'

This is a page that has been up for Surfers (of any skill set) or those involved in any ocean sport across the UK. On this page you can set up car pooling, meet other local landlocked surfers in your area, plan trips to the coast, ask surf advice, find the best spots and share surf stories and pictures. Beginners and those who are interested in learning are also most welcome.

Please take a look, we're geting more people involved everyday and the bigger the Landlocked community the better it will work and the more likely to find people in your local area.

Hi Everyone, as well as the usual Facebook pages there is a website called www.Surfermates.com that is set up specifically to find surfers near you and help you share lifts.

cheers,
