The interesting stuff on ebay thread.

Postby Poo Stance » Tue Nov 11, 2008 1:30 am

Following on from the last post I thought this would be a good place to put up stuff people have seen on ebay that they think others may want/find interesting/laugh at.

So here goes.....a set of Scarfini fins from SA. Don't know anything about them but they are going cheap so if you wanna tinker with your fins maybe have a try?

Longboard blank by Homeblown?

Nobody seems to want this either. 9hrs to go. 54quid (reserve not met). Terry Fitzgerald Hot Buttered Twin Fin (glasses) Looks fairly old skool. Check it out could be a steal.

Bumblebee bonzer suitable for a big fat guy. Looks like a dog at first sight but it might just be a really ugly resin swirl.

Going cheap though http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUPERB-64-Surfboa ... 240%3A1318

That wetsuit advert is fuckin hilarious.

As if the fact Alan bloody Stokes gashed the suit would somehow make it more valuable!

Bet that guy's a hoot in the pub, "did I tell you about the time...."

^^^ maybe, but anyone seen the full deck bamboo 'springer'? think its on the rapidfire. Some good ideas coming from firewire. Taj model has a massive balsa insert around the front foot area. Not to mention the carbon rod stringer system.

anyway....here's a mini surfboard twinny made of foam and glass. Dunno what its good for tho unless you 1/2ft tall.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mini-Replica-Surf ... 1|240:1318

There's a longboard one of the above too (mini).

Also found this...Liddle 6'3 displacement Hull. 350quid atm.

^^^ Didn't you mean to post in the 'gloat about the bargins you've found on ebay' thread?

Here's a tasty looking board. I'd be all over this if I was anywhere near west Wales.

Shameless self-plug, but it is an interesting board and one of very few Van Straalen's in the country:

Is that how you treat your boards Archy? As a spare kitchen work surface! Shame on you.

I've seen that one!

What does it go like in beachies etc? Does it like a clean face?

Interesting board and I'm sure that if you advertised on Swaylocks it would go in a snap...

that's not a bad idea - i always think of it as a US site so don't bother but guess i and many others use it from the uk so as you say - a good idea! i'll get on it. This one is particularly good for beachies - although i find that they all go great in pretty much any clean conditions -
cheers for the swaylocks suggestion
