Here we go, another cheap single fin for all those single fin lovers out there. I was told those short singles are a bit tricky to control - but that one looks really stable for its 67" length. Any idea about the thickness and width?

Those dimples, are they there to "trap" water and create a thin layer of water underneath? water on water = no friction.

Some ship / boat hull has rough surface for the similar reason, don't they? I hear some of the racing boats put a coat of wax for the same reason. I don't know how true it is.

"More" on here raves about those dimples. He's shaped a lot of them, and swaers they are incredible. I can imagine they create a lot of lift.
