Interesting phil, and while we are on the subject, Christine Cronau, author of 'Bring back the fat' has just been banned from lecturing at many Uni's in Oz.
She states a ' Ketogenic' diet, one very low in carbohydrates, and very high in fat is the very best thing for cancer because cancer feeds on sugar and without it can't survive.
Friends of Science in Medicine which represents more than 1200 scientists and clinicians wrote to the Uni's to warn of Ms Cronau's dangerous nonsense.
Its interesting to note that back in 1999, while i was undergoing some treatment at Derriford, i was told to go on a high fat diet for the duration and not to drink orange juice.
