If someone was to park an artic ,with a massive sound system on the trailer, on the beach at your favourite break, what music would you want to hear while you surfed? The first person to say "the beach boys" is a total nob OK? Although the music from Hawaii 5 O and the Old Spice and Guiness ads might have to be in there somewhere! CHEEEEEEEEEEEEESE :P

i quite like the piece and quiet you get when surfing, it's not often you find an activity where it's possible to be totally zoned out with your own thoughts, and not being interfered with by unwelcome noise.

However, if I HAD to make a choice, I'd like to have some jazz or something calming as i battle with the froth 8)

then on the few times I stand up, i think the rocky theme turn would probably surfice!

OK so if you don't fancy music, what about rows of underwater floodlights in the break for nighttime surfing? Would pressure sensors so that the lights change colour as the waves roll in be too much? Here Deadly, pass the mushroom soup.....

Yup it would depend on the waves really.

If it's big and heavy maybe some Silverchair, maybe something like Pure Massacre would do nicely.

If it's medium size with some bash-able walls then Pennywise would do it.

If it was small, mellow and sunny, yeah something chilled out. Maybe a bit of LTJ Bukem or a bit of Dreadzone. Maybe even a a live gig by Jimi Hendrix and Brad Nowell.

Yep some underwater lights would be nice. How about naked chicks dancing on podiums too?

Small n mellow Floyd (older stuff) with mushroom soup and underwater lights...........

Good summer day with mates NOFX or a bit of Green Day.

Woah that's f*ckin Big (2ft :D ) Pantera, Deftones, Metallica.

Funny enough i've just written a song about surfing. Being a bit of a songwriter/guitar player. Well mellow. Might post it up for a listen when it's finished and copywrited. Don't take the piss though or i'll cry :)

A few years back before the Nazi occupation at Puttsborough, a few mates and me got there too early and was dark preety near high tide. All put on full beams on vans and went for a floodlit surf......didnt work too well but was a nice idea. 8)

Yeah but Im talking about lights UNDER the water so it would kinda glow and the white water would really light up cos of the random refraction of the bubbles so that all youd be able to see was water and surfers and perhaps the odd startled mullet and ......OI GRIZZLY, did you say something about mushroom soup?
