Whats everyone best prezzies that they have bought or recieved? Trying to think of ideas..

got an X box and Kelly Slater Pro surfer this year from the Missus.

Bought my sister some Whitby oak smoked Kippers for her birthday once, she loved them. That was 20 odd years ago, and she still says " do you remember the time ........ "

I was given life on my zeroth birthday. does that count?

I was 'given' a mini traveller estate [a real * woody*] by my dad. it had been my mum's car and she wanted something larger. As I had been surfing for a couple of years and wanted to go further afield it was brilliant.

It promptly blew a head gasket, cracked the block and cost me a fortune to repair.

so really it was the best present ever, and cost wise - the worst

Mind you I ran it for years afterwards, wish I still had it sometimes

My old dear had one of them too!! Not a woodie tho, blue steel all the way. As a nipper I used to actually look forward to long journeys, which was all of them cos she's never been one for doing much over 40. I'd put the seats down and make a little den in the back/ catch up with some shuteye. Was never one of those "are we nearly there yet" kids. Good job really.

Best ever birthday pressie - well it hasnt arrived yet but this year I hit a quarter of a century and my 'rents have agreed to club together and buy me my first surf wagon. Something I can crash out in if need be, probably a diesel estate or maybe a small van... any ideas?

Before that - BMX, age 10. No question.

Ahhhh, a Moggie traveller estate, I travelled round Scotland in my mates Blue and white one in the mid 70's, those where the days.
