printers

does anyone have any experience of using a colour laser printer to print photos and if they have can i have some advice please as i need to get a new printer and have been told that laser printers are a lot cheaper to run - do they have propper photo quality ??

Boots are currently doing 10p for a 6x4 print from any digitial media...not bad at all!!!
By the time you mess about with photo quality paper and mega expensive printer cartridges and the printer itself you may as well go and get them printed!!

yes - with the designs - they're cool i just havn't had time to have apropper think - 3 weeks working with 2 single days off and bigjohn on my back

Whats your budget?
What size prints do you want to do?
How often will you use it?
Personally i've only ever used inkjet printers. 10 years ago laser printers had better quality and a MUCH higher price, these days its not the case. Put a inkjet and laser side by side and you wont see any difference in quality.
If you dont want to print all that often then try Boots or Jessops. Only problem with that is you'll miss out on doing any post editing to get a good shot looking great.

Would be good to have a photography section on the site. C'mon Ben.
