Er nope. Its a good morning to try for a world waterspeed record !! Joss Bay might still have the remnants of the weekends swell though. It was good up there on sat/sun, unfortunately I was land locked.

The only river mouth between shorehem and beachy head that doesn't have a harbour is seaford as far as I know. its a bit out of my patch. Watch out for the locals if you go to Hastings. PM me with more info if you want me to find that location for you and I will use the chart plotter on the lifebout to zoom in on a few spots, my paper chart for that area is large scale

Ok, here's the deal, if we get a big sw swell, with no onshore wind we go to CH. if the South, SW blows it out we go to my favourite spot for a SW swell with a SW wind.
Can you bare to be seen out with a sponger?

Oh ye of little faith. My favourite SE break faces South East with a big wall on the south side but it works on a south west swell. Them old swells swing around the corner and squeeze up just nice!

Brown water does take a bit of getting used to but its quite clean these days, we have a lot of blue flag beaches around here.

Hey Rez, its all a cunning plan, its actually a secret break that would put Hawaii to shame but thet're trying to scare us off with talk of "no waves" and pollution. They'll be telling us there's crocodiles and sharks next :?

Used to see a lot of 'furry sea snakes' and 'latex crocodile egg sacks' washed up around the place, but this was late '80's maybe before the water companies sttarted getting their act together.

Strange, but round my way I'm surrounded by blue flag, green flag beaches, water quality is absolutely brilliant overall, Welsh water have done a really good job. Hell even Aber is clean now, and look at all the b/s that gets into their sewers

Why is it then that South West Water cannot get their act together? The scare stories coming out of Devon and Cornwall beggar belief on occasion

Its cos they know that all the sewage that they pump into the sea gets swept up to wales or up the channel towards France, Hmm?

the biggest shock i got when i moved down here was the water rates - double what they are in bucks - wtf - should have the bestest cleanest beaches in the world for what i pay them - shiesters  (however you spell it)
