Just got a Bose soundlink iii bluetooth speaker so really devouring streaming at the minute, massive immersive sound on the link. getting onto some albums that I've only got on C90s

Devouring at the moment:

Eels Beautiful freak
De la Soul Buhloone Mindstate
Anything by The Who
Neil Young Harvest (my current top pick)
Crosby Stills Nash Young - eponymous album and deja vu
The Orb's Adventures Beyond the ultraworld (great album before rave disappeared up its own arse, how many albums from that era can you really listen to today?)

More recent picks for me

Midlake
Besnard Lakes

Got Urban Hymns on at mo after listening to Ashcroft on Monday on BBCR6 while waiting for the tide to push in at Hells Mouth. Great interview on the Steve Lamacq show. Well worth a listen, very insightful as to where the music business is at and was at

I plummed for Sonos over Bose as I like the multi room function. Same thing though... Loads of Streaming. Grand!

When I was in America last , I picked up a Bose Soundlink mini speaker. I love that thing! Never turn on the Denon sound system anymore.

Cuz.

New album Tamatebako... Jeeez it's the sound of summer.

I'd listen to Mike Watt fart down a phone though. So I might be a bit biased.

Went to a bangin reggae roast do yesterday. They have a mental brand new new rig with bass bins from another world. Seriously organ shaking stuff. Awesome do with brilliant live toasting - something like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8l51ndbzEU

If you ever get the chance to see them with the full sound system - go! Epic.

I'm a bit of a Clutch freak, seen them 4 times and have every CD they've done. The new album is quality 'Earth Rocker' and have always liked 'Pure Rock Fury'.

I do lag behind sometimes with music, but not had a DAB radio for that long,so was restricted to what i could listen to for years without being on the net,but bought Black Keys-Turn blue, and loving it,it's such a pity the main stations can only ever play absolute crap, and get their play lists off what people mark on facebook
