No, stayed here in kent. The forecast for saturday was so poor that we decided to put it off for another weekend. Its a long trip and only worth it if the surf is likely to be better than here at home. I think today was better at Croyde and Puts though.

Yeah, but its a f'kin long round trip for a morning surfing(we would have had to be away by mid day).I prefer to wait till we can surf on both days. I suppose I could have spent saturday practicing my duck dives in the pool!
Anyway, I had a lovely day playing on the lifeboat, mowing the grass and fixing outboard engines!

Cool. I saw some webcam shots in the morning and it looked like a goer.I was planning to bring a pal who's never been to the west country so I wanted it to be impressive. I think it will have to wait till the new year now. Still, theres always the Big Chill new years day surf to look forward to (surf permitting).
Is it possible to stuff yourself with sprouts and xmas cake and then get into a winter wettie WITHOUT farting?

I was going to head up, but went to a local south coast spot instead. Around 2ft mostly with a couple of 4-5 ft sets coming through. The wind was onshore but really light. Starting to feel cold now though.

Although actually I am power mad, I just don't have time to keep up to date with all the important 'political and social commentary' that gets posted here....

You don't have the time because you're to busy looking at sites like this.
