Its pretty damn good, I was surprised at how it recognised obscure tracks from just a clip of the intro, which to the human ear didn't seem unique at all. Its easy to fool it with techno though, multiple tracks mixed together and it doesn't have a clue

My fitness pal app is good. Got a good amount of info re calories and exercise. I'm down to 32" jeans now... First time ive ever stuck at a diet or regime of exercise, cycle to work and climbing 2 days a week is knocking it off. Good app to keep track.

Strava.
Manages to turn a simple cycle to work into a competitive (and fun) exercise!

and much more.

If you like Shazam just wait til you try musiXmatch.

It listens to a song like Shazam but then displays the lyrics...... 8) 8)

It will also scan your library and show all the lyrics for each track.........

Put 'surf reporter' on my dog m bone. From (I think) the sharkbait guys in Brighton.

Easy to use and does what is says on the tin.

Some may have ethical concerns about what it does but thems the times we live in I fear.

My friend was telling me about scoop and some other photo app where you can post up your pics for sale. Sounded interesting.

Amazon Cloud Player. I've just binned spotify.

Can't remember the last time I put a CD in the player really, we have Sonos throughout the house, can control from my phone, ipad or mac.

Who'd have thought 10 years back that a mobile phone would be so powerful.

It's a thread I was thinking about starting.

Why are people so dependant on them. Umbilically connected, day & night, can't put it down, how many followers etc, etc.......
