Unethical, if it showed the kid healthy and fit and then showed how he used to be it might be Ok but that doesnt say anything really, just an asumption that his life is going to get a whole lot better due to their interaction?

I think nike are taking advantage of the lad on one hand

but if it is motivational for fat kids and they stop eatign so much shite and start running then i can see the positive sides.

Nike could have done the cool thing and just left out there brand. that would have been way more powerful..

i guess they are competing with olympic sponsers this summer

I reckon it's bob on, I took up running to try and give up smoking. It worked. They're not targetting you or me, but that whole sector of society that want to get fi bu haven;t made the leap of faith yet....

Had a woman & her daughter at my door a couple of weeks back ........

'Your son (10) called my daughter fat at the park' .................... really struggled not to say she is though & so are you - stop giving her scheme dinners of chicken nuggets, chips & beans and move more

caved in between the ears & got him to apologise to the girl & assured the fat mother that it wouldn't happen again.......

NHS / Local authority should have a system whereby kids weight / health is actively monitored several times a year and the parents held accountable for unhealthy, overweight/obese children. All this healthy school dinners caper, kids don't get fat at school FFS

My son is overweight, according to the school. Apparently. He is somewhere on the autistic rainbow, suffers from severe dyspraxia and will only eat garlic bread or coco pops. Sounds funny, it's not. He's built like a brick shit house for his age, the doctors say he's perfectly healthy. Yet the school want him and us to see a dietician to discuss his weight.

Bullshit.

On a positive, he asked for toast this morning from outta nowhere! To which I said " you know where the toaster is you fat little shit, get off your arse"
