Hate is a negative emotion, vent it here. (no wooden wall hangers please)

Thes stupid little card readers you need for doing internet banking - always at home if you need one at work, or vice versa. Would actually be useful if you could use it as a calculator too, wouldn't be that hard to add a few basic functions.

People who demand attention/affection by claiming to know everything about anything.

For example: I know someone who doesn't play many videogames, but in our social circle, quite a few of us do. She'll then blag her way through a conversation just so she can be seen as "cool". Seriously, if you're not that into something, why bother faking it? The sad thing is, it happens more and more each day with more people.

Yes agree totally.
Also on the radio when the interviewee is hardly audible so you turn it up, then the interviewer becomes deafening. Do they ever do any eq-ing, with all the modern tech you'd think it would be auto-balanced - just a bunch of lazy shitheads!!

Could be an urban myth, but I heard from a cousin of a friend of a guy (or some such) that adverts are louder than the show because during the breaks people use the loo, or stick the kettle on, so they crank the volume so the viewer can hear it when they're not at their TV sets.

tv advert people use something called a` compressor`(guitarists will know this) which beefs up the sound and makes it more punchy......along with turning the volume up probably............friggin liberty it is.

My HATE:

Coming to work Monday 8:00AM, still half asleep, wishing I was still in bed or even more, hoping it was still Saturday.

Turn PC on, put kettle on, autopilot my mug, tea bag in situ, boiling water, milk from fridge, pour milk...

BLOB

I hate milk that goes off on Monday mornings...

the actual number of 'tards who are too lazy or blind to read something as simple as a note about new user approvals and merrily proceed to post the same damn thing 3, 5 or more times 'cause they couldn't see their first post immediately grrrr, not your secretary!

Trying to find at car park at Noosa during a cyclone swell...air conditioning broke on car and driving round sweating for half hour while watching perfect walls race down the point. Once you get a spot and feel like a million dollars, you paddle out and realise all the wax has melted off your board from driving round so long, so you slip and twat yourself in the face on the only decent wave you've got near for an hour....

people who use disposable cups because they're too lazy to wash them.

People who put the conveyor belt toaster at half speed and half heat. Slow cooking doesn't work on bread.

^^ man that tool me back to GC. Good sized perfect lined rare south swell. Saw every set coming as me and my mate were cleaning aircons and canopys. The beach was a 30 second walk round the corner and our boards 30 seconds the other way. Still baffles me why we didn't just go for a quick splash. We knew the peeps we were working for they would have been cool. I was just helping my mate for free so he could finish the job quicker. It was a cash job which he had to nail that weekend. Anyway. We finish in time for an hour or so of light and as soon as we finish work the sets stop. It goes from HH to ankle in no time at all. I was devastated. But looking back i wouldn't have that memory any other way. Nice one for the triggering the old synapses smiler :)

I hate it when Internet threads trigger flashbacks.
