Cryptocurrency

Postby Vince Noir » Tue Jan 21, 2014 10:07 pm

anyone into mining coins ?

i have no computing power or capital to do so, but given that the ridiculous dogecoin has quadroupled in value almost over night, placing a small investment in one of the top 10 coins could easily pay off if it took off.

i dont understand it very well, but seems to be like playing the stockmarket but without a middle man

was reading up about bitcoin recently, the maths or whatever your computer does to mine coins has got so hard that people pool together now to mine and it can take ages but a bitcoin is worth over $900 today, also theres a thing about how they show up, you wont see then till you get 5 or something like that, far too complicated for me, so here's Max Keiser to explain :-D

That's a lot of magic beans. Be careful not to get caught with them. The federales may not be friendly if they catch you with them on your person.

There's another name for Cryptocurrency

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme

I'm starting a new cryptocurrency, called the Chriscoin. I'm currently selling them for a pound. Tomorrow I will sell them for £2, so I guarantee they will double in value overnight! On Saturday I will sell them for £4. Anyone keen? Get in now!

^^ I thought all currency was a ponzi scheme? 'I promise to pay the barer...'?

Anyway, could be a good time to burn your real state endorsed ponzi scheme money into a virtual one if you are so inclined. What goes down...
