Kale and mango smoothie = lovely. Try and get most of your nutrition from real food... from things that grow in the ground, not highly processed derivatives made in a factory, incorporated into chalk pills with other crap. Some supplements can be okay if you don't have access to proper food, or if you know you are deficient in something in particular, but what would be even better is getting what you need from whole foods. Read 'Whole' by T. Colin Campbell.

You'd be better off getting all those nutrients from food. If you disagree, then go and read 'Whole'. It's a 'game changer'.

Kale chips too. Get a bunch of kale... Cavolo Nero works really well. Cut out the stems and cut/tear it up into 2x2" ish pieces. Make sure it's dry. Mix it in a bowl with a little good oil, and soy sauce/balsamic vinegar/chilli and garlic flakes/tabasco/sea salt, etc., whatever your preference. Stick it on a baking tray in the oven for 15/20 mins until it's crispy, but not burnt. Done. 'Feel good' food for sure.

Turn the news off if you wanna be happy. That shit is depressing. Turn it off and go and do some yoga or something instead.

/\ Agreed. No news is good news! :D

Thanks for that link Matt. That's a good talk, and an inspiring story. Shows you what's possible.
Yes, healthy Organic food is more expensive, but it's not as expensive as medical care and multiple Prescriptions.

dont watch the news TV or read the paper. I keep up to date by listening to other folks chatter. Great quality filter.
Re supplements- yes best to get it from proper food of course- but john is a young fella and maybe doesnt even even gets his own shopping. Thise suplements are all needed for good brain chemistry and help reduce depression.

I will check out whole

Check out this lass though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0u8UdZeOhc

@Matt Kale spinach banana apple and ginger with a dash of coconut water + water. Down in as many gulps as i can. I often gag tho. But i do that with porridge too.

Guardian is good. George Monbiot's column particularly so.

Hoping others will lead you to knowledge via chatter MIGHT lead to dichotomous thinking and seeking out only that which re-inforces your view as per this article:

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfre ... cks-europe

Its why I was uncomfortable with a lot of the Gaza chat on twitter, very self-fulfilling and dichotomous and which never mentioned this http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/hamas.asp or the 1940s issues while backslapping each other.

All this don't buy Israel stuff could have been applied to the wars we have been engaged in for years yet do the decisions of our politicians mean a UK farmer or business owner should be excluded from markets.

I don't know the answers and people wiser than me say if you think about it too much you'll go insane

I think I get balanced view from people i know most and trust.

My 5 closest mates have all very different view points- one is in the KKK, the other is a palastinian freedom figher, another is deputy head teacher at a private school with masonic tendancies, one is on the dole and the other is an amazonian pre contact tribal elder .

That is enough for my tiny life to form an opinion on most shit.

PS sean sorry if i sounded a little retarded saying i dont read papers..its just i ain got time for that shit. too much propaganda and celebrity. id ratehr get it filtered by people i meet and chat to. There is no better way for building rapport with people if you dont know what the fuck is going on in the world- cs you can just ask them. What;s going on in the world? you can also just glimpse at the headlines and get quiet well informed I have found

Its alright. I just need to know what Kim Karshadian is up to 'cos I would'nt fucking sleep otherwise.

Guardian online very good and free though.

Recently highlighted deal with US whch means corporations can sue UK govt if they bring in laws that affect their profits.

Also selling of housing stock in London to US Corporations with Tory MPs on board and which are planning to forcibly move vulnerable people from their, so they can convert to millionaire pads as its central London. Just think how that affects communities, displaces people who may have supported each other for generations. Imagine if Whitby was all council houses, people forced out to live in Scarbs, Pickering, Loftus etc - can that be right? Pursuit of profit st the exclusion of societal cohesion.

Also how the bumbling 'likeable' (!!!!) Boris Johnston has cut youth, arts and other funding in London from 20m to 2m and expect a cohesive society.

and how debt has doubled over the last Parliament but apparently its not the fault of this Govt

yer right, why the fuck do I read this shit. (reckon cos I still like getting angry at stuff)

Fuck knows

1, Armed revolution?

2, Requirement that political leaders actually work before entering politics and not some internship bought by Daddy and this applies to all main parties?

3, Abolish the monarchy to free centuries of mind control that we are not all created equal.

4, Embargo press in lead up to votes so voters need to learn things themselves and reach a conclusion that fits their motivations, be it individual or collective. Murdoch et all only have their narrow interests to pursue and hugely scared Scotland. The family owners of the Daily Mail have lived in the West Indies since the 1930s while paying no tax and bemoaning immigrants which is a little hypocritical. They supported Hitler too. having to read manifestos might open eyes. UKIPs is about 2 pages long, does not define an immigrant and so this applies:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

4, Maybe self awareness from power elite as per this TED talk http://www.ted.com/talks/nick_hanauer_b ... anguage=en

Fuck em all, lets just surf

could be in for a gradual revolution....economy will never recover

We are all seeing that an economy based on buying shit (consumption ) in a finite world is a ponzi scheme

A gradual breakdown if this economy into somethig else means it's ripe for revolution

Unless we due out

Posted this elsewhere, but think it fits in here too... the more people who see this the better. More to it than psychedelics.
