The Insurgence began in 2004 in the rain soaked city of Seattle, WA. They quickly gained a reputation as one of the hardest working bands in the Northwest. Gaining such attentioned landed them support slots for such heavy hitters as RANCID, DROPKICK MURPHY'S, CIRCLE JERKS, SUBHUMANS, US BOMBS, ZEKE, AVAIL, MISFITS, & STREET DOGS just to name a few....

THE INSURGENCE - Wasted Future

track 3 here : http://www.myspace.com/theinsurgence

The Insurgence are an important band that you should all pay attention to"
- Al Barr (Dropkick Murphy's)

"The Insurgence deliver a fresh dose of pissed off punk rock that has been missing in action since the emo and screamo trends started taking over the airwaves"
-Donny Paycheck (Zeke)

"The new Insurgence music is just plain ASS KICKING!!"
-Jack Endino(legendary Seattle producer of bands like Nirvana and the Dwarves)

Jimo... loving the 1st album! Its so fucking quality. So much rawer (is that a word?) than album 2. Gun without Bullets and Heart Attack America being the stand out tracks. Why is track 7 on every album I own always the standout track? Weird! Haven't listened to the 3rd album yet but need to play the 1st to death before I give that one a chance :-D

:headbang: Its all goooooooooooooood!

Minor Threat, (old) descendents, cirlce jerks, Dead Kennedys, TSOL, agent orange, Violent Femmes - well maybe country punk, lol , Dag Nasty and all that DC/NYC stuff...

As far as 'new' punk bands, I know its not the same punk sound, but, Rage Against the Machine is prett f-ing close to the right attitude....
