Its really beautiful. I love this style of tattooing - hardly any outlining. Its given me an idea though for my sleeve. Was thinking of a zombie on a surfboard, then I thought of a pin up and now I am thinking of a zombie pin up on a surfboard but lying down like this mermaid chick! Cheers Jory.

I totally agree. My tattooist has been working on a piece for a skater and its amazing. Its a massive skull on his back but the skulls head is flipped open on hinges and loads of little skateboards with wings are flying out of the skull. Its sounds and looks completely mental but so much work has gone into it and the idea is awesome. I'll have to try and get a pic of it.

I've just had a mexican sugar skull added to my tattoo sleeve on inside of my arm (lined only...no colour yet so it looks cack). I had a flip skateboard years ago with a similar design so I've always wanted one. It will look lovely when the colour is done. I love skulls :-D

Hey t_t
Just noticed this skull tat you have - I kinda like it as lines - how did the finished job look?

Loving the sugar skull Tink, I'm about 10 hours in on my 3/4 sleeve about 8 more hours to go, my Mrs is on about a sugar skull, but she changes her mind every other day  will stick some picks up later

yeah, that´s what i was thinking....very flattering but was done without permission- but them who owns all those tattoo designs? like the japanese stuff, the Celtic stuff, the biker stuff etc etc? he´s asked me to draw up some more designs (paid) so i´m happy with that deal.
talking of copyright issues did you see the blatant Santa Cruz rip off thing?: http://surferspath.mpora.com/news/the-santa-cruz-fashionista-scandal-catwalk-designer-copies-skate-classics.html

I have a polynesian turtle dagger on my upper arm. Supposed to bring the wearer protection whilst at sea from sharks. I got it after a change in my circumstances left me feeling a bit alone and vulnerable, and to be fair, I'm still here.
