Thought I'd share a couple of videos taken on my Surf Hero this week.

The outcome was better than expected except later in the week the casing started to mist up and clouded all the footage. I have seen a few people on here have had the same thing happen to them and wondered if anyone had a solution to prevent it from happening? The case was completely dry when I opened up the casing. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

might be worth keeping the camera and casing open in a box with a load of rice when you're not using it. the change of temperature from cold sea water to hot car and house could cause a small amount of condensation. keeping it in a box with some rice will draw any moisture out ready for the next outing.

Slightly more hitec is some small bags of silica gel to absorb moisture. Load the camera with card and batteries in a warm dry place, and don't open it after that.

yeah i've got a few of those hanging around in my camera bag and laptop bag. rice doesn't seem right in there, but it is easier to get hold of!

I have to say the guy on the SUP was a class act! Based on how he rode it, I reckon he's one heck of a longboarder!

As for the bag of silica gel notion, I'm not sure you could get one small enough to fit in the casing?

If you can, before you go in the water with the camera, keep it in a bucket of water that is roughly sea temp.

When I dive, if I take a camera, on the boat out to the dive site I just grab a bucket of sea water and leave it in that for the duration of the boat ride. usually does the trick. Plus the silca packets

Forgot to say, on tuesday mine fogged up a bit, but it didn't seem to be that bad when the lens was kept facing away from the sun, and if i leant forward to dunk the camera underwater as much as possible the fogging definitely lessened.

got some more cool footage from my gopro - this time airborne doing aeros with my dad in his yak52. The aicrafts is Lithuanian and the same sort of age as me!!

Hes playing maveric in the cool helmet, I am the goose in the back watching out for the Hun .

we were pulling 6g in the section of the film where my headset and glasses are being forced off!

Not Gopro, but here is a clip a friend of mine made of us doing tandem parapente jumps in France. I am under the yellow canopy. Good cure for post wedding hangover

Hey guys, how did you mount the FCS fitting to the front of your board? I'm a relative newbie to working with boards, I've repaired some dings but I've no idea how to go about installing an FCS to where there wasn't one previously.
Any input would be appreciated.
