How the hell do that surf like that on those waves? I drove home away from waves like that the other day because I knew I could barely stand up on them even with my 7ft mal.

They talked to Wilko about Kennedy's board. Said he held it under his arm and was totally different to anything he's seen before. Diff rails, tail, nose, rocker.

this is like commentary of everything people have said etc, what use is that?

I'll add another pointless quote:

"38th on the world rankings right now"

Anyone taking an interest in Kennedy on a Tomo?

How his 1st waves were a 3 or whatever when Bourez got a 7 for his wave. Would have been criminal if he didn't make it through. They took ages deciding on his wave scores too. And they showed one turn from one wave of his in the highlights at the end of the heat.

Not to mention they didn't interview the him as heat winner on the previous round.

Watch the heat (6 of round 2) on demand and you decide if he was underscored.

just looked back at this heat. Bourez' 7.00 was shite compared to Kennedys first wave with a fins free back hand reo and an air....and Kelly's 9.00......nothing compared to later scores.
dodgy!

Wow isnt it amazing that a international high profile company that enjoys
mega profits has taken over our sport of surfing

Just a random thought, carry on, enjoy the coverage
Isnt that guy surfing way better than that other guy.

This is interesting - Stu Kennedy V Slater in the water right now and the commentators actually thinking Stu was hard done by - he hit a high backside 360 air (no grab) and got a 7.3 and Slater went on a wave just after that and did one backhand snap and got a 6.2 ish....... Stu seemingly getting underscored for sure

His board looks much easier to ride and to do airs on than a conventional board, what are we going to see next? Body boarders "kneeling" on their boards and pretending to surf?

On now, currently talking about the surf channel coming to the US. Who is that good for? Only for the pro's and sponsors and thats it, the knock on effect of 100s more in the water, 1000s more, 10,000's more? The "average" surfer surely wants surfing to be as unpopular as it can be
