Medically necessary circumcision - healing time?

As per title. I've had lichen sclerosis for a few years now with the phismosis (foreskin tightening associated with the condition) really bad now. A circumcision will totally obliterate the condition forever and I can access one when I man up. Anyone had a circumcsion in adulthood? Painful? How long out of the water?

chap I used to work with had to have it.

He was nailing his mrs and somehow is foreskin got split - it then healed too tight so when he got a stiffy it would then not retract etc.

I found out when i entered the office bog and found him with his knob in a cooling glass of water trying to pursuade it back in!!

Anyway, he had it done and recovered pretty quick, a week or something and he was back at work anyway.

Aye not shy, if I need a finger up my arse I'll say 'doc finger my arse and check it'. Embarassment or not wanting to trouble the gp (a service we allpay for) the biggest killer, Bobby Moore told us that years ago.

I know a person who did not want to trouble the Doc with a cough, non-smoker, super fit, got stage 4 lung cancer, not long now.

Wife had a breast lump the other week, marched her down to gp, she was happy to dwell and worry, straight to breast clinic qithin days and all clear given saving a lot of stress all round - was a menstrual cyst type thing. Some people in that clinic won't have had such good news. Got to check these things early.

Know someone under 30. Had cervical cancer, spread to bowel and stomach. All removed (except stomach), 9 hour op, rarely done due to strain on body, 3 years clear now and doing triathlons. Some people would have been too embarrssed to get issues checked out.
