Baggage allowances on budget airlines

The charge for boards on easyjet seems not too bad at first -

But it's actually:
- 27GBP each way and also
- you are not allowed to pack clothes around the board to protect it

So I guess this isn't much use.

There's so many airlines out there. Any experiences with other companies? I know it's been covered before but this is a change for easyjet, it's changing all the time.

The price of fuel as it is driving is less of an option too.

I've always loaded my snowboard bag and surf bag with clothes on easyjet and never had any problems. As long as it's less than the 32kg limit, they don't seem to care

It clearly says "Price per Flight".....You have a flight there, and another flight back. That's two flights, so 2 x £27.....not sure what your gripe is! All airlines charge per flight....kinda obvious.

Not all airlines charge for baggage as claimed by one of the posts, where are you going?

I meant that all airlines that charge, do so per flight!
