Yes it sticks in my mind but he surfed "better" in the comp and before it started he looked like an excited little kid. Anyway I would prefer to watch Curren surfing even if he's behind in a competition.

Few highlights ...

Did Sunny really front Freddy P on the beach over a 'non issue' in the water? - yet again more negativity of Sunny in surf contest.

Sebastien Zietz was on strong form & fully deserved the win imo!

Highlight of the day was easily the second semi heat - touch & go throughout! Fiiiine surfing!

Biggest fail of the day was Dane Reynolds - maybe the early morning sickness screwed him, I dunno - real shame!
