Hire Boards in Guatemala

Postby Paularoid » Wed Mar 06, 2013 12:58 pm

Hello
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of hiring a longboard in Guatemala, or a mid length.
I've looked around and i know it is possible there just isn't any info on how good they are.
Again any info would be very much appreciated.

There's a few places that hire boards, but can't say I saw any longboards.

Also, I wouldn't go back to Guatemala.....brown water, and full of beaches that close out!

Thanks for the information, I don't think Guatemala is any more dangerous than the other Central American countries as long as your careful and don't join any gangs.

The reason I was looking at Guatemala is that it doesn't seem to get to busy, maybe there is good reason for this. Like no surf and a bit killie.

Thanks again for your help.

Guatemala City was the second scariest place I've ever been, behind Managua in Nicaragua....it's pretty sketchy, and you definitely need to know some Spanish....
