Very scary but that's the whole point of it isn't it? The rich bastards in power love a bit of destabilisation to avoid us blaiming them for our ills. Divide and conquer. Either the media drugged public have fallen for it or its a sham. Either way Labours job to compete is now three times as hard. We are possibly left with a far right wing government we didn't elect who can do as they please virtually unopposed and with no EU regulation to stop them.

Every person i know, except one, back in the UK voted OUT, they think it will end immigration, control the borders, and end the human rights act, time will tell.

Wales voted to leave also.

Nice interactive map here showing the breakdown of each constituency.

The economy in freefall and the prospect of Boris running the country - did I wake up in a parallel universe?

On the basis that the UK cannot survive without trade deals with the EU, here's my prediction...

2016-2019
1. Cameron gone, BoJo to replace him
2. Bojo "negotiates" an exit deal, that still includes free movement of labour (immigration), access to the EU market/EU access to the UK (including fishing grounds), and a fee. Basically the same as we have now, except no power to influence or veto key decisions (such as Turkey joining the EU)
3. Nicola Sturgeon at the same time negotiates a deal for Scotland to remain in the EU
4. Cue Scottish independence referendum
5. Scotland leaves the UK, and remains in the EU. England, NI and Wales leave the EU. Nicola Sturgeon does a Braveheart impression at the victory party.

2019
6. The break up of the UK triggers an early general election. The Left is in a mess, and without the traditional Labour stronghold of Scotland, or the SNP, the Conservatives win a comfortable majority. If by some chance they don't, they do a deal with UKIP.
7. Cue the farthest right government in years, with no coalition partner or EU responsibilities to reign them back
8. Say goodbye to the Arts, anything creative, anything outside of London and the home counties, Cornwall, the benefits system, human rights etc. Say hello to a private NHS, tax breaks for the rich, and a far less tolerant, far more fascist UK, quite possibly including things like offshore detention centres (already been mentioned in some exit plans).

Basically, trade/membership wise we'll get what we've got now, with no power to veto key decisions. Fishing won't change, immigration won't change. Politically, we'll get a far-ish right government for the foreseeable future.

So, the pro leave people have got what they want. Except, when it comes down to it, they haven't really, they've just removed any power they had to influence things. Judging by the demographics of the leave voters, they'll actually be the ones that will suffer the most in this brave, new "Great" Britain. Ironic eh?

without it the necessary parliamentary acts will never get through commons and lords

Don't believe everything you read....

Cornwall has already been allocated a big chunk for the next 3/6 years or so, and this was initially pressing to ensure that will be honoured. The second element is ensuring the UK government match the investment the EU has put in after we leave, as the Leave campaign promised to do. So not quite as sensationalist as the tabloids like to make out....
