Surfboard mount for standard camera

I have a Fujifilm Finepix X-10 waterproof camera (2 metres) which I'd like to be able to stick on my surfboard, rather than buying a new waterproof video camer like Go-Pro. Any suggestions on a mount that will have a screw-in attachment for a "normal" camera like mine?

Hi, I am looking for a solution to the same problem. adams surfboards in newquay can design and build something for your board and camera, this will be made especially with your board and camera in mind so I would imagine it wont be cheap. Hope this helps.

Check out the Wrist Pod by Golden Hour www.goldenhourcompany.com Its not a board mount, but it works great for surfing shots and is compatible with most cameras.

If it was me I'd put an fcs plug in the board so you can gopro later if you want & grind down a bolt head (of correct size/thread for camera) to fit the plug. That way you can screw camera to bolt then apply to board. You could drill a little recess in the bolt where the grommet fits for good hold. Then you take it to a manufacturer of plastic moulds for mass production & your future millionaire status!
