Any discussion on shaping, designing, repairing and riding surfcraft of any type or shape. Also a good place to ask the 'what board should I buy?' question.

Anyone got a board with this construction?.........thoughts?

I'm after a new Longboard either a CJ Nelson by Ian Chisholm or a Harley Ingleby by Billy Tolhurst, i've always liked light boards, never been a fan of heavy logs.
Quite a few shapers worldwide now using these Blanks/method by the Jap company, including Skindog in Cornwall (Ben Skinners goto board, so he says)

thoughts on strength, performance, flex? etc even if you have a Pyzel shortboard.

I was talking to Ben Howey that had the Blender in TBT, with that Carbon look, his was 2 years old and hardly a mark on it. Obviously he’s surfed the snot out of it. I’ve got the Bearman Pro in ESE tech and I love the thing super light ,fast and the flex is makes the thing spring out of a turn, I’d never buy a PU log again.

Thanks for reply, think i'll go for the CJ Nelson classic, i'd love a Ryan Engle Sprout in TBT, but not available here.
