Dents in the board.

Any discussion on shaping, designing, repairing and riding surfcraft of any type or shape. Also a good place to ask the 'what board should I buy?' question.

Dents in the board.

If a board has any small dents on the underside will it affect the boards performance?
I fell off in a wave last Sunday and my longboard came down on my head leaving a small dent on the underside just in front of the fins. It is only a small one about an inch wide and there are no cracks.
Maybe I am being too fussy because I only bought it new last month and treating it like a brand new car.

Don't worry about it or add a load more and sell it for twice you paid as the latest performance longboard!

hairdryer sorted mine out, got a nice crease in an old board from it bashing against something in my van. Used a hairdryer and it just expanded the foam and pushed it out.... Perfect now
