Good afternnon,
I am new on this forum and I apologize if this question has already been asked or if it is in thewrong section.

I have bought a vision ignit soft surfboard a few weeks ago, and the deck has started to peel.

Please could you let me know if there is an easy fix?

I've found a video online where epoxy resine is being used (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmeqGg4GmFM) but before I use this method I wanted to make sure it would not damage the surfoard.

Thanks for your help

Laurent

Don't use epoxy. Use a glue gun or proprietary bodyboard glue. Contact adhesive.
If its a new board take it back and get a replacement.

ps Make sure the glue you use doesn't melt polystyrene or you'll be stuffed.

Thanks for the advice, I'm glad I've asked before blindly doing it!
I will pop by the shop on saturday morning when I'm off, hopefuly they can change it.

Hi Laurent,

I work with repairs for many years, just to say....... I agree. Change it, because it will happen all along the rails.

The Deck & Botton joint should be melted as the Top Wetsuits.

The only brand I know with these kind of rails is Pipeline Softboards. You may find in Newquay at Cornish Surf School and Cloud Break Surf Shop Plymouth.

Goods waves everyone .... stoked ....my first post
