New board

Postby Oli » Sat Jun 10, 2017 3:37 pm

I'm an average surfer currently surfing a fourth 6'4 reload. I'm looking to progress onto a shorter board. I'm only 5'8 and 65kg, so on a bigger board its harder to so try and surf more aggresively. I can surf waves bottom and top turning in both directions, and I'm a competitive swimmer so my pulling and core strength is good. I'm looking for a board that i'll be able to surf in all British waves. I've seen a fourth flying sea badger 5'9 x 19 x 2 3/8 that I like the look off.

I'd really appreciate any advice anyone could offer.

Thanks Oli

The doofer is the all round board. That FSB seems to be a flash in the pan and never made it into a stock shape for some reason so I'd be wary. Also that will be a big drop in volume, not that I care much about volume. Try a few different sizes first.
