lost quiver killer wanted NOW SORTED

Postby gavtheoldskater » Tue Aug 07, 2018 4:37 pm

i quite fancy trying something a little more modern and progressive.

a rounded thumby type tail, quad ideally, 6'2 ideally, flatter rocker and fuller template, lost quiver killer looks perfect.

anyone selling one?

NOW SORTED, THANKS

I was looking at this kind of board/size last year.
Also worth a look are...
Emery: The Shoe
and
Adams: Option (this may be a copy of the quiver killer).

Did you find a Quiver Killer? If so how does it go?

similar... i found a js blackbox roundtail, i'd actually never heard of one before. its a 6'2 so slightly bigger than i could get away with but foam is my friend i'm beginning to learn and its not so much as to be unwieldy.

the thing is absolutely unreal, surfing it as a quad (i still need to get some decent fcs 2 quad fins) and very possibly the best board i have ever surfed. i'm kicking myself that i didnt discover rounded pins years ago and i cant remember the last time i had a board that made me so excited to surf it.

no question i would buy another, and whether a js or similar, for me as a 52 year old stubbornly average on my best day surfer the slightly flatter rocker yet still leaning towards moder progressive shape concept seems to be a real winner and definitely flatters my surfing.

You were lucky to get that as I've been looking out for a 6'2" round tail Blackbox2 for a few years and that one you bought was the first I've seen for sale. Didn't have any money left to buy that one though, spent it on other boards.
