Stitches in suit neck causing chafing - any fixes or tips?

Postby lodger » Tue Dec 22, 2015 1:04 pm

The stitches in the back of the neck of my newish Billabong Xero chest-entry chafe badly after a couple of hours. Tried using Body Glide on the area last time I went out and that helped, but neck was still a little sore afterwards.

Anyone got any fixes/tips? Was thinking maybe something (liquid latex?) that I could paint over the stitches to reduce friction.

My old suit was like that as well, use a rash guard and try to find one with a high neck. I've since used two newer suits that don't have that problem, i think the new wetsuit designs might have made wearing rash guards underneath unnecessary.
