Anyone know if Finisterre are doing a new iteration of their winter suits this season? By all accounts it was a belter and I need a new a steamer.

Not sure....give them a bell and ask? They were selling some of last winters off at half price a while ago, don't know if they've got any left.

Yeah will have to. Shame if they don't follow up on last year, my mate had a test suit and reckons it's the best winter suit he's ever had.

I'd agree with that. My test suit is two winters of surfing and two summers of spear fishing in, and only now has a seam on the crotch started to leak....not bad at all!

What size are you?

Wow that is heavy use. My xcel winter suit hasn't lasted anything like as well as that and is now actually cold and like a 3mm suit! Definitely sold on the idea of the finisterre suit. I'm an LT mate

They did come out a little small, so you might want to go up a size if you can get your hands on one. I'm a MT in everything, except O'Neill where I'm a M. Size Large in the Finisterre ones! Couldn't actually get the MT over my hips!

But yeah, I really rate it. The little 1.5mm panel of extra neoprene on the kidneys is such a good idea.

Cheers for the heads up. Since the birth of my son a year ago I've definitely added to the L in LT so good to know. Will try and call em tomorrow, would be a real shame if they don't do it again. I like the look of the sexy eco friendly Patagonia suits but I can't really drop £500 on a wettie at the moment

Great news!

* EDIT

Just seen they're also £40.00 cheaper than the last edition, that's decision made for me
