Bachgrit article again but more relevant as mostly quotes from West oz press,

https://beachgrit.com/2018/04/west-oz-p ... el-medina/

I wonder how long his contract with Rip Curl is for?
The film 'Breath' is out in a couple of weeks, Simon Bakers big screen adaptation of Tim Wintons novel, all fimed around Denmark (about 4 hours east of Margs),
a great area without the glamour spots, hopefully it may bring some tourists back.

https://www.wslfounderscup.com/

It starts in a few days time, would you pay? 99 bucks for one day 149 for the two, all VIP tickets sold.

and Slater, Captain of team USA and owner! bit of an unfair advantage or what?

or just a warm up, for the upcoming CT event.

just watching the founders cup now... seems an odd one to have as a CT event. feels more like a top end training ground. loads of adverts, no vibe, soulless almost...

dont get me wrong though, id sell my left nut* to surf that wave :-D

and the late Bunker Spreckles the Space Child, he made an appearance in Cornwall about 76/77 just before his demise, he was in London at the time.

Perhaps he had prior appointments booked with his tailor for suit fittings?
One has to prioritise such things if one is to keep abreast of this years look.

Was a great surfer back in his and her day, shaped some nice single fins in Devon,
realistically KS won't be too fazed, he sold the majority share to the WSL.

Right now Team Australia is at the ranch on an Olympic Readiness Training camp, where is good old team UK training?...................Great Western??

The Texas wave pool has also been chosen over Slater's as the training center for the 2018 World Juniors, and also the US Olympic team when selected.

I'm probably way late to the party on this, but...

Deleted my Facebook account a while back. Now cant watch live streaming. WSL website wants to redirect me to FB, and the WSL mobile app wants to open up the FB app. I'm not hardcore fan, but surely this is going to reduce the viewing of the casual observer.

Sadly 'Yes', but you can't blame KS sucking up to the 'Ziff's', he built his wave pool and then sold the majority share to the WSL, genius!

Rumour has it Parko has bailed on next months 'Ranch' contest, calling it boring after one wave, tube rides won't count (for points) so it could end up a Brazilian air show.

ps. thanks for reply, as MSW forum is now
