About to fly back to this beauty from Tim Mason for a brief fling on the North coast.

Should keep me going for a while.

looks amazing, got it wet yet?
interesting that the rear fins look like 80/20 foil, with the rear fins right out on the rail flat foils are usually the choice

Pulled an old twinny out last night with this pretty amazing G+S fin system. 30 years or more before Futures came out.

Just to keep the stoke going on this little thread.. A new 9' SOS from the talented Mr Mason.. Really stoked on how this turned out. In fact the whole process from ordering to taking it out the box was about as good as it gets! STOKED!

Talk about a baptism of fire - christened her on the wave i bought her for - 4hour drive and in 40knts offshore winds

She was a dream - first couple of waves was a disaster, had to paddle back in a get more wax

She paddles well and taking off is a dream - the rocker with tightened nose helped me a lot with catching the wave and avoiding some serious face plants

Not a joke to say I’ve doubled my wave count but have to get used to making sections

Unfortunately pterodroma she’s a keeper but would have gone for a 6’10
