You need to put your points across on the Fbook page - you'll get listened to there...there's a link on the homepage to give feedback.

Resistance to change can be a force for good. It allows for new ideas, concepts etc to be thought through properly.

I gave some feedback to Ben on the FB page and give him his due he responded....but I then posted again later that evening after looking again...and saying I still thought it was waay over complicated and gave him a link to a more simplified version which is still on the MSW site. He posted back that more simplified version will be coming soon.......so I'm hopeful that we will go back to more like what we had before.

Yes agree that some of the detail needs reducing - some pages end up with 4 different menu bars!

forget iphones and androids, i have a non-smart phone that loads msw okay but without the stars or wind direction. Please tell me someone is working on this?

Any idea when the photo filter issue will be sorted, we have lost the filter by region section, the bugger is still greyed with no URL

Since the new surf report layout has been on here it is completely inaccurate!
Today for South Fistral it says 2ft. Knee high to waist high. FFS.

There's a little button on the toolbar about 1/3 from the top of the page that looks like a cog, it's next to the time display. That's the tools button, go and change the forecasting units in there to UK and you will have your old feet, inches and mph settings back auld mannie

Touch the cog icon in the sub nav to bring up the units modal. It's missing when you have the iPad in portrait mode, I've added the bug, it'll get fixed, rotate the iPad to landscape to reveal the icon for the time being.

The site's now so slow on my mac that i hardly look at it these days. I don't have this problem with other sites except ones that are clearly badly made.

All you guys wingeing should try surflines new website/forecast layout. Now thats a bad design, its almost unusable, and so slow unless you are on a new computer with a fast connection, good luck trying to use it in an internet cafe or something. I wish web developers would lay off the Java a bit, its like they discover this cool new toy and just go to town with it..

The MSW site is fine for me though really, it isn't that different. I'm not sure what was gained in the switch though

Sorry you're finding it slow Chris, we've been making performance improvements weekly. Can you let me know what browser + version you're using please, what URL is slow (or is it everything) and if you're logged in or not please.

The new works beautifully on iPad/tablets, is hopefully easier to read and navigate.
