I don't see the attraction personally why anyone would want to spend £990 on a battered board that was made and ridden by a pro.

How is that remotely interesting, and not just a plug for your other post?

This board is one of many very interesting boards for sale by the same seller at the moment

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-PETER ... 33a329ff91

He/she also has a vintage Simon Anderson, an original Phil Jay and a 12ft gun by Reno

this is priceless.... especially the part where Paul Gill was Miki Dora's favourite shaper!! Dora was particularly known for riding thruster set up longboards

Haha! There is a whiff of truth in there somewhere as I know Gill shaped Miki a board or two, but as far as 'favourite'? Hmm.... It's more likely that Miki's 'favourite' shaper is the one who always gave him free boards

I think you're right on both counts there Archy... pretty sure he'd have happily taken boards from anywhere... just made me laugh though when you think of the likes of Renny Yater, Greg Noll etc.

Also highly unlikely that he recommended a thruster set up for a gun, but you never know - he did some surprising things! The board actually looks like it would be pretty useful in some shifty, open water reef setups.

Expensive 'Bear decal'

1400 quid...

All it takes is a quick google and you should find out how much you can expect to get for your board...

Unreal.

yeah and they were KB's own designs, you can nearly get two new ones for this, he's making a few under the Bilbo label this year.
