Hi ,In reply to these previous posts ,I nearly got caught out ,I had my camper advertised on gumtree ,had a text come through to my phone weirdly no number but had the name of a person called carla asking for more info to be emailed ,then had a email saying she wanted to buy the camper and to respond ,when i did it took me into a polish registered website ,fortunately i hadn't put in any passwords in my gumtree account as I had forgotten it .Beware of these email texts whatever seems to be some strange stuff going on ,cheers n gone

I'm trying to sell my Mountain Bike on Gumtree. Had it listed for a grand, now 900 ono. What the fuck is it with people telling you they'll have it, then not hearing anything. What's the scam there?

I've had about 30 this week say they want it, then I reply saying ok, when? and nothing back...

Had offers last week to swap it for 3 LCD tellys, Xbox's, Macbook Pro, and most recently a chihuahua puppy?????

I think you would rock the villain look walking around stroking a chihuahua.

SCAM WARNING ON GUMTREE

Postby PeterRog » Sun Sep 10, 2017 7:46 pm

Ive seen a 300cc LC kit for the kymco 250s, grand dink and B&W 250,think there might even be a malossi kit, the B&Ws have started to become cheaper, saw one on gumtree for R5k running in CPT, think something like that could be a lot of fun in a 150
