Someone’s listening

Postby buttholesurfer » Wed Aug 21, 2019 6:14 am

Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I was talking to the wife the other day about purchasing something random for our house, then the next thing I know it pops up as an advert on Instagram?! I hadn’t searched the net for said item, there it was advertised in front of me in all its glory.
Big brother is really watching and listening.

Technology is spying you - a couple of things here about facebook but could apply to any app etc on your phone/computer.

If you have any Alexa/Siri/Echo thingamajigs they'll do it too. And smart t.v.'s. It's well documented.
With everything going 'Smart' (smart light bulb anyone, only £45  ) everything will be remotely recorded/used for marketing purposes/to guage public opinion on topics/to spy on us all.
Even your toaster will be spying on you.

What's that saying?... "Orwell was an optimist".
