winter cycling gloves ?

anyone got any recommendations for my commute ?

i want something warm, windproof, and waterproof. dont want to have to buy twice, so anyone from scotland who cycles to work, what do you wear ?


would be good if they are breathable, as i dont want horribly sweaty hands either

ive tried a few different types over the years.. at the mo im still using cheapo fleecy types.. ive got some Enduro waterproof breathable jobs for when it gets really cold but even these dont stop a couple of finger tips from freezing off on the morning commute..i may have to give some westuit gloves a try this year.

I got these out of alpine bikes last weekend.
Read lots of reviews and supposed to be toasty. (not tried them out yet)
Expensive though!

Get yourself a pair of snowboarding gloves out of TK Maxx - cheap & do the job - also , doubles for post surf use.

yeah, i think you can wear them underneath a waterproof glove in wet weather or a liner underneath for just cold, ive read mixed reviews about the sealskinz, maybe layering is the only way?

I've got some fairly god quality ones I got from Decathlon, their own brand, but can't recall make. Breathable and some insulation, but not sweaty palms. Still get nippy tips midwinter though.

got some Seal skin winter gloves

are pretty warm so far, and comfortable. bit sweaty when its warmer, but seem to do the job for cold mornings. only annoyance so far is that the inner liner sticks to your fingers and comes out a bit when you take them off. not too much of a problem, as it goes back into place when you put them on again
