Yorkshire potash project

Any thoughts on this ?

directly going to affect those in/around Whitby. arguments for and against obviously, but if the bbc program on the radio last night was anything to go by, local people are seemingly all for the jobs and investment, and have been buying shares in Sirus minerals

done sensitively and with respect for the environment, should generally be good for the area in terms of employment and indirectly boosting the local economy

not a done deal yet but looks like the project has support at high levels

yeh SBC are behind it

they are talking a good talk at the moment- low visual impact high environmental controls

1000 well paid local jobs and all the spin out benefits- loads of money going into the local econoomy

traffic around the site will be fuckin crazy like

they minerals they are pulling out are quote ionnovatove and certainly not accepted in the sector. Its different stuff than what cleveland potash mine

who knows i might even get a contract there myself
