the "what gig have you just been to?" thread!!

thought this was a natural addition to the music thread :-D

What gig have you just been to, any good?
Could be useful as a head's up on who to go\not go and see :-)

Saw Brigade and Disco Ensemble at The tunnels last Sat. Brigade as always were fantastic if you like 100 reasons type of stuff you'd like these. Disco Ensemble pretty good although found it hard to pin them down (first time I've heard them). Oh and a band called the Scare played as well... avoid at all costs

Last gig I went to was George Clinton/ P-funk a couple of months ago. Superb playing, incredible sound quality, and they're all absolutely friggin mental! 8)

Not been to any recently, but was watching the Reading festival highlights on telly last night - Slayer were awesome, perfect bedroom music

Pearl Jam were fan-fucking-tastic. 'Alive' - what a tune!

A brighton band called "Suitable case for treatment" - insane and slightly disturbing

also "The Mules" the drummer is the lead singer and must be on something, cracking london band - go see.

Saw Goldfrapp at Eden.

Good band and very good show but it was the location that really rocked - I think I'd even see the Wurzels play there, it's so good!

Is that the Unholly Alliance tour?
Seeing them in Manchester. I reckon it will be a top gig after looking at the line up (Lamb of God, Children of Bodum et al).
Unfortunately Exodus (who I've been waiting to see for years) are doing some gigs around the same time so will proabably miss them :?

It's not cool to look like you are having a good time, didn't you know that. Unfortunately I was away in Yorkshire.
