Errm - Slight plug but Dad's band, the Funkwits (think Funk, Reggae, Dub) are playing at the Mill House in Trebarwith on Saturday night :-D

Have so far never failed to get the entire dance floor filled... :-D

I saw glass shark at the weekend, I reckon theyre the best bands in cornwall. They're kinda punk-disco-funk, best comparison would probably be LCD soundsystem.

trivium at plymouth pavilions last night. trivium were pretty shit but the three back up bands were killing it,Gojira in particular were a metal treat to the ears :-D balcony seats are where its at for old folk like me :lol:

Went to see Cinematic Orchestra at the Lemon tree last night. Amazing, got to be in my top ten. Currently doing a UK tour, not to be missed :wink:

thats Norman Watt-Roy form the Blockheads as in Ian Dury and the Blockheads

Blockheads played at Fowey this eve - tightest band i've heard for a long time - bloody excellent 8)

and all the band came into the bar afterwards for a chat with every one 8) :-D

I've got some class tunes by them 8) 8) 8) How much of the music came out of the keyboards n gizmos on stage?? Did they have any badass jass musos with them?
