Hi guys
Looking for a bit of corrective advice, just incase I am making the problem worse !
Recently went from a 7'2" hybrid shortboard, where, when I popped up, I would plant my feel shoulder width apart in the centre of the board.
Didn't get on great with the board so recently bought an 8'3" Spider Mini-mal. When I pop up I feel like I am using the same pop up as the previous board (habit), But the board seems to slow down straight away, and even occasionly start pearling when I am standing up. I am thinking that maybe I shouldn't be in the middle of the board
Where should my back foot be? How far apart? Weight distribution, and finally, on the last board, when I went to pop up, I was putting my hands at shoulder eight to push up - should I be changing this ????
Any advice from mini-mallers would be great !!!
