That's confused me. No cross stepping or any stylish longboard moves.
Doing turns that even I could manage on a short board.
FFS, the front 4 ft of his board seem to be superflous (sp?). why dosn't he just cut it off and get a short(ish0 board ?

Underdog, you are missing somthing, there is some nose riding nearer the beginning of the clip, but the whole thing is just quality awesome progressive long boarding.

Just re-watched clip without the benefit (sic) of far too much alcohol and realised my comment above was basically bollocks.

What I was trying to say was that I can't really see the point of doing "shortboard" type manoevres on a longboard. Surely, if the guy can throw a longboard around like that then he could really shred on a shortboard - so, why not ride a shortboard instead of making things more difficult than necessary.

I missed the nose work on first view - Beer Goggles must have been steamed up.

I know what you mean but being able to shred short board style, and nose ride/ x step/ drop knee turn all on one board surly makes a more versatile style (not taking away form short boarding or trying to start some daft long verses short argument).

That's the way modern long boarding is going and I think it is progression, the same as short boarders are turning to skate style maneuvers and more air time it's all about pushing the boundaries.

I like it all, I just wish I could do it
