First timer on the east coast

Looking for a lift to the beach? Got a car and fancy a help with petrol costs? Just want to bump into a few folk heading in the same direction?

First timer on the east coast

Looking to get into the water this year and likely to be targeting the east coast of scotland and the west coast of galicia (the girlfriends spanish).

Not been in the water yet but had a misspent youth on a skateboard till very early twenties. I'm hoping to pick this up ok ?

Any other beginners looking to meet up and try to not drown....... give me a shout.

If your based anywhere near Dundee, the University has an excellent wee surf club that makes regular trips up and down the coast. They meet at a bar called Medina on Tuesdays around half 8 for a bit of chat and to organise trips. It caters for beginners really well and they have all the equipment you need to get yourself going.
