Best surf camp in Portugal

Postby EMN » Tue Sep 25, 2012 7:00 pm

As the title says. Have never done the surf camp thing before and thinking I can sneak off for a week in October. Anyone know of a particularly good/interesting surf camp In Portugal?

I agree with baggins! Been to Peniche surf camp three times now, and will go back again, it's the best! Though there's the Rip Curl pro in October so check the timing.

Just a thought, October will be warmer in the SW of Portugal, flying into Faro airport. Small bit of advice but hope that helps! :-D

Portugal rocks dude! The winter swell is going to leave you breathless tho. :drunken: Hope you are in shape! I haven't been in Portugal but I did Tarifa with these guys and they rocked. They have this surf camp kind of in the north but I don't know if that fits your travel plans. Good luck, bro! :sign10:

Never understood why anyone would stay at a surf camp unless you are a total beginner or unable to drive. Why would you want someone telling you where and when you can surf? Then pay them a load of cash for the privallege..... Go Search!!!
