Not sure if I posted this before, but here's a clip of a chap I met briefly in G-Land last May, John Eldridge.

I was out this day (I think you can see my feet at around 1.17 :lol:

) and I have to say it looks a lot more perfect than it was. Speedies was warpy and quite a few were shutting down, but John was going on pretty much anything... It was refreshing to watch and be reminded that we have some great surfers from the UK who are relatively unknown and charging with the best of them.

Great footage taken by John's girlfriend from a small boat in the channel and a great soundtrack, I reckon:

I think John's on a 7'2 - 7'4ish singlefin from Ellis Ericson - another reminder how well singles work in the tube.

I've got those 'coast' dvd's knocking around somewhere, some good sections on them if I remember right.

Also a fan of Neil Erskin's surfing.
