When you're heading for a surf without a care in the world, car window down breathing in the fresh air. A noise by your right ear indicates you are sharing your personal space with an almighty great hornet!

There was a confirmed sighting of an Asian Hornet in Cornwall (albeit Liskeard) in the last few days - Invasion coming!

Yeah, I'm already fed up with people (and the daily mail) freaking out about those. Most of the continental insects that have colonised the uk over the last 20 years or so (and there are plenty) have had little impact. Its fuelled by climate change and that's what we should be freaking out about but its easier to vilify one insect than tackle the real issue.
